Karanteeni ja talvi

Karanteeni ja talvi muuttivat lähes kaiken. Niiden lisäksi. Anteeksi, että olen vielä vähän salaperäinen, mutta vinkkeinä: on töitä sekä täällä, että netissä, on ihminen, on turvallisia ihmisiä ja se yksi pihalle lentänyt omine nokkineen, jonka menoista en edes enää välitä. En ole jutellut tai nähnyt kasvotusten pariin kuukauteen, toki etäisyyden päästä, kun ei sitä täällä pysty välttämään.

Nyt on kaikki kuitenkin ok. On monta yhteistä projektia "uuden" ihmisen kanssa, olo on tasapainoisempi kuin aikoihin ja kunhan tämä talvikin tästä hellittää, niin tarkeenikin taas.

Lupasin viimeksi niitä kuvia lisää, mutta joutuvat vielä odottamaan hetken, kun ovat kännykässä. Mutta tulossa on! Tästä "uudesta" ihmisestä myös. Vaikka on hän täällä kyllä jo käynyt blogin puolella.

Maaliskuun mutkat

Edelliskertainen tapahtumaketju palasi neljän yön jälkeen muilta osin samaksi, kuin mitä se on ollutkin jo pari vuotta, mutta ahdistukseni on hitusen hellittänyt, ainakin tähän asti. Nyt päässä pyörii mikäpä muukaan kuin korona. Ja se, että rahaa pitää hakea kaupungilta, tupaten täysissä pikkubussi saa. Bussilta ei ole pitkä matka KAAH:iin nostamaan rahaa, vain muutama sata metriä, mutta "downtown" on aina tupaten täynnä väkeä.

Rahan osalta tilanne on myös lievästi sanottuna ahdistava. Vaihtokurssi us dollariin hyppii jo viidelläkin ylöspäin päivässä ja inflaatio prosentti oli perjantaina noin 540. Tällä hetkellä vaihdan USD Zimdollareiksi vasta mennessäni kauppaan (kauppojen edessä pyörii lukemattomia mustan pörssin rahanvaihtajia, joten aina on joku paikalla. Virallista kautta vaihtoa ei kannata tehdä, kurssi on täysin jälkijunassa, mustan pörssin 1:45 (arvio), virallisen 1:25 tms. Tarkkoja kursseja ei ymmärrettävästi pysty kertomaan, mutta tämä olikin vain suuntaa antava arvio erosta).

Lääkärin jokakuukautinen tarkastuskäynti täytyy perua, kunnes tämä virus on poistunut, koska sitten lieneekään. Virallisia tapauksia on vasta yksi, valkoinen britti, joka palasi Englannista Viktorian putouksille. Hän ei ole zimbabwelainen, mutta hänellä on oleskelulupa tänne. 

Josta tulikin mieleeni, että varmasti yksi, joka helpotti oloani, oli se, että sain vihdoin pysyvän oleskeluluvan! Tästä oli stressiä, sillä haastattelu meni meidän osaltamme huonosti. Onneksi sitten mukaan ottamani kirjeet osoittautuvat tarpeellisiksi. 

Kävin myös tapaamassa lakinaista tyttöystävä-asiassa. Olin saanut kyseisen lakifirman tiedot Zimbabwe Women Legal Associationilta, mutta kun menin tapausta esittelemään kaikki e papereineni ja todisteineni, sain silmilleni vain huutoa ja poistuin paikalta kyyneleet valuen. En tiedä mikä kyseistä naista vaivasi, zimbabwelaiset ovat yleensä hurjan ystävällisiä ja avuliaita, mutta tämä ei antanut minulle edes suunvuoroa, saati, että olisin saanut kunnolla edes vastattua niihin muutamaan kysymykseen, jotka hän siinä huutonsa lomassa esitti. En tiedä pitäisikö ZWLA:lle ilmoittaa tästä käytöksestä, olihan tämä heidän suosituksensa. Kotona katsoin kuitenkin netistä lakitoimiston, joka haussa ilmoitti myös käsittelevänsä adultery-tapauksia. Netti ei ole täällä vielä niin käytetty ilmoittamistapa, vaan yleensä tietoa saa jonkun muun kautta. Tällä kertaa se kosahti ja kunnolla. Mutta saa nyt sitten nähdä koska pääsen sinne toiseen paikkaan käymään, kun ottaa huomioon tämän korona viruksen. Ja sitten on vielä yksi kysymys, raha. Onneksi tulilla on muutamakin idea, joiden toivon auttavan tässä. 

Sähköä on ollut tosi epäsäännöllisesti. Se on rasittavampaa kuin se, että sitä on vain n klo 23-5. Välillä sitä on aamulla, välillä iltapäivällä, sitten pätkii, sitten on yönkin poissa ja sitten taas näitä 23-5. O kertoi, että ghetossa, jossa hän asuu tyttöystävänsä kanssa (sigh), on sähköä aina koko viikonlopun, koska siellä asuu paljon sähköyhtiön työntekijöitä. Mutta siellä on myös niin paljon väkeä, että tällä hetkellä en haluaisi edes käymään siellä. O saakin luvan pysyä poissa täältä, en kaipaa virusta elämääni tällä hetkellä. O polttaa, joten on taatusti hyvä magneetti mukaville pikku viruksille. Muuten ravinto tuntuu olevan enemmän nestemäistä, kadonneista lihaksista päätellen. 

Joten. Ahdistus on palannut jossain määrin, mutta ymmärrettävämmistä syistä. Päivällä istun ja luen verhot kiinni ja ovi lukossa, illalla hermoilen koska sähköt tulee, mitään fiksua en kuitenkaan saa aikaiseksi. Ruoka on aina samaa soijarouhe-herne-tomaattirisottoa tuoreella kaalilla ja kurkulla. Kävelemään tekisi mieli vasta pimeällä, mutta se ei ole kovin turvallista ja se kävely menisi hiippailuksi. Kauppaan on mentävä heti kahdeksalta, kun siellä on vielä hiljaista. Kirkkoon ei mennyt kukaan tänään, en saanut rauhallista päivää edes kotitontilla. Ja olen tosissani jo väsynyt vain lukemaan, kirjeetkin jumittavat, enkä tiedä edes kulkisiko ne täältä minnekään, jos ylipäätään olisi rahaa niitä lähettää. Postimaksut ovat kolminkertaistuneet, tosin en tiedä tilannetta nyt tältä kuulta. 

Kivoja asioita: rakastunut ilma, viileämmät syystuulet puhaltavat ja puista lentelee lehtiä. Voi nukkua talvipeiton alla ja unta saa paremmin. Varsinkin kun tuo nuorempi kissakakara tykkää nukkua polvitaipeissa, tuntuu painopeitolta, vaikka onkin vain jaloissa. 

Väsyttää. Mutta asiat ovat niin hyvin, kun ne nyt vain voivat olla. Ei siis mitään ylitsepääsemättömän vaikeaa. Saa nähdä koska pääsen postittamaan tämän. Klo on 11 aamupäivällä, lauantaina.

[26/01, 07:28] Chido: If he would have done it, she'd gone to the Police Station to make a report of him. But obviously he has tried to defend himself at least. I have seen such thing with my own eyes.

[26/01, 07:30] Chido: Her brother was even asking him to pay lobola (the bride money), which he obviously didn't do because he is already married...

[26/01, 07:45] Chido: And it smelled weird, not like the incense usually does. And I have smelled them quite a many during my life so I can tell that. That was another thing which made me suspicious.

[26/01, 07:48] Chido: Yeah, because he has been used and no one deserves that. Even though you feel that the person has done so much bad to you as well. It may or may not fix the things between us, but if I can help (I'm probably the only one right now), I'll do it.

[26/01, 07:51] Chido: So, before his older sister died, we spoke that to kill that juju you can't use juju yourself, but God. They are the opposite, you can't use the same.
